Soon after establishing C-Thru, he began advertising and distributing louvered window awnings throughout the United States. In the mid 1950's, he saw the need for quality and ethical standards to be set for the growing industry. To accomplish this, Mr. Albany helped form the first Manufacturing and Retail Trade Association, to which he was elected the first president. C-Thru then led the pioneering effort in producing such items as the structural aluminum patio cover, the patio room enclosure, safe integrated electrical raceway systems, and the finest sunroom in the industry. Mr. Albany passed on his belief in business integrity, and a legacy of "quality without compromise" to his two sons in December 1988. Kirk and Jason Albany are carrying on his heritage by maintaining the same high standards. Today, C-Thru Industries has established itself as a world-class manufacturer of sunrooms, conservatories, and patio enclosures. Almost 60 years of experience have led to a product that is beautiful, durable, and second to none.
